Feature Description

Authors will be able to set achievement goals that will result in students receiving a certificate, tracked and delivered by Torus.

Setup

From the Author interface, follow the steps below:

Publish the course

• Log into Torus as an Author
• Locate your project
• On the left-hand menu, click on Publish
• From the options that drop down, click on Publish
• You’ll see the Publish page. Click on the Publish button.
• The Update Sections message will pop-up. Click on the OK button.

Enable Certificate Settings

• On the left-hand menu, click on Products
• Write the name of your product in the title field
  • Project vs. Product: We recommend creating a title different from the title of the course and easy to identify as differentiating between the base course and the product with the certificate will be important later on.
• Click on the Create Product button
• A link with the product title will be created in the table below. Click on the product title.
• Scroll down to the Certificate Settings section
• Click on Manage Certificate Settings
